Due to the implementation of Career Tracks into the Payroll Personnel System (PPS), there will be an entry and update blackout. Phase 1, which results in the conversion of employees from legacy titles into the new Career Tracks titles, takes place from Nov. 1–4. New Career Tracks titles will be established for non-represented employees with the following timeline:

  • Effective Nov. 1: Campus Monthly to Campus Monthly
  • Effective Nov. 6: Campus Biweekly to Campus Biweekly
  • Effective Nov. 6: Campus Biweekly to Campus Monthly

Campus Monthly to Campus Biweekly, effective Jan. 15, 2017, will occur in Phase 2 scheduled for conversion in January 2017.

The blackout period will result in a freeze on keying the following actions for non-represented staff employees:

  • Funding Changes
  • Appointment Updates
  • Promotions
  • Reclassifications
  • Set-up of Ancillary Pay 

Payroll keying will continue uninterrupted for the following populations:

  • Represented Staff
  • Faculty
  • Non-Faculty Academics
  • Postdoctoral Scholars
  • Residents and Fellows
