In order to prepare for the implementation of Career Tracks UCSF HR Staff Shared Services will undergo a transition period from Aug. 29 – Oct. 31.  

What to expect beginning Aug. 29:  

  • All job postings for policy-covered titles (formerly referred to as non-represented) will be in Career Tracks titles utilizing the Career Tracks job description templates.
    • “How to Write a Job Description” trainings to be held in person, and simultaneously via live stream, on Aug. 10 and Aug. 16. 
  • Reclassification blackout period begins.
  • Exceptional equity blackout period begins.
    • Salary retention proposals for a key staff member in the face of a bona fide job offer from a competitor will continue to be reviewed.
