UCSF Campus non-represented employees are being transitioned to new job codes under the Career Tracks classification system. Employees are being mapped to their new job codes effective November 2016.  

Due to the complexity of this project, Human Resources is asking department managers limit reclassification requests for non-represented employees to requests that are as a result of a position’s duties significantly changing (complexity, scope, expansion) that is likely to affect the established Career Tracks level. These reclassifications can be submitted per the current reclassification process in the HR Service Request System (SRS). Note: This is does not impact titles that have already transitioned into Career Tracks job codes as a result of the IT implementation effective July 2015 or employees currently within a bargaining unit.  

This pause will be effective May 16, 2016 and will end on November 1, 2016. All reclassification requests submitted prior to May 16 will be reviewed and processed as usual.  

As a reminder, the Career Tracks implementation will not affect base pay unless an employee is paid under the minimum of their new Career Tracks salary range.
