Commuter Alert: Doyle Drive Closure – Thursday, July 9 at 10 p.m. through Monday, July 13 at 5 a.m.

Doyle Drive will be CLOSED for an extended weekend from Thursday, July 9 at 10 p.m. through Monday, July 13 at 5 a.m. in preparation for the opening of the new roadway. Those traveling to/from the North Bay during this time period are advised that there will likely be traffic congestion.

  • Golden Gate Bridge to Highway 1 will remain open; however, expect major delays
  • No access to Highway 101 from Marina Boulevard or Lombard Street
  • Travelers during Friday commute times are expected to experience the most significant delays.

We encourage advance planning so that the campus and medical center can continue business as usual. UCSF supervisors should discuss with affected staff the possible impact on commutes. UCSF employees are encouraged to explore carpooling, vanpooling, and telecommuting from home if operationally feasible, and/or working with their supervisors to arrange flexible work schedules temporarily.
