Transportation Services recently sent an email to Mission Bay employees alerting them to likely traffic congestion on the Opening Home Day of the Giants (Monday, April 13).

Although Opening Home Day typically causes the most congestion, the Giants are scheduled to play 12 additional weekday day home games in 2015, all of which will impact traffic and parking in the South of Market, Mission Bay, and Dogpatch neighborhoods. Below are all the dates for midday games; we encourage advance planning.

UCSF supervisors should talk with affected staff about the possible impacts on commutes and discuss so that the campus and medical center can continue business as usual. UCSF employees are encouraged to explore carpooling, vanpooling and telecommuting from home if operationally feasible, and/or working with their supervisors to arrange flexible work schedules temporarily.
