In response to departmental requests to have a resource for planning, a document (requires MyAccess login) has been developed regarding timing for new appointments, renewals, layoffs, involuntary reductions in time, and non-renewals. There are many stakeholders in any of these actions, and this document considers the input of each of the stakeholders and reflects timing recommendations for departmental planning so that expectations can be close to current experiences. HR remains committed to working with departments and campus offices to review processes and policy as we look for ways to gain efficiencies in processing HR actions.
