  • Obtain an estimate of your University of California Retirement Plan (UCRP) benefit by visiting the "Retirement Estimator" page via your At Your Service Online account. For customized projections, click on the link to "View More Monthly Income Options" on the Retirement Estimator page.
  • Once you reach a decision to retire, the process at UC is completed in two steps: Request a Personal Retirement Profile and submit an election. The entire process takes approximately three months.
  • Decide your retirement date, then contact HR/Benefits Specialty Center at 415/476-1400 or [email protected] to schedule an appointment with a retirement counselor that is within 90 days of your intended retirement.
  • Please note: The application of an inactive Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) to the Highest Average Plan Compensation (HAPC) only applies to the retirement date of July 1 and where there is a minimum of at least one business day gap between your date of separation and your retirement date of July 1.
