UCSF encourages your participation in our first ever Staff Resource Day. While the event is scheduled during common lunch periods for many staff, this time frame may not work for all given the nature of our operations. If you are interested in attending and the event time frame does not coincide with your lunch or break periods, please talk to your supervisor in advance to request release time during your workday. Requests for release time will be considered based on the operational needs of your department.

UCSF Annual Paid Time Off (PTO) Payout (2014-12-02)
Who: All Medical Center employees whose PTO balance is above 75 percent of maximum accrual.
What: Maximum accrual for PTO is two times your annual accrual rate. For example, if your accrual rate is 24 days (192 hours), your maximum is 384 hours. If an employee is above 75 percent of maximum, Payroll will pay out the PTO so that the employee is at 75 percent of maximum. The payout will be based on the employee’s balance as of Nov. 22, 2014, less any PTO usage on the timesheet for the pay period ending Dec. 6, 2014. In addition to unrepresented (99), we will include any UPTE health care on the PTO plan. The payout will be based on the pay rate as of Dec. 4.
When: The payment is planned for Dec. 10, 2014.
